Certification of an Environmental Management System is a certification released by an independent third part body, grants that the Organization has planned its productive processes in full compliance with the constraints provided by the current legislation on aspects of Environment conservation and protection. This Certification requires that the organization voluntarily define the rules and objectives of continuous improvement, taking into account the information concerning significant environmental impacts.
To obtain the Certification is essential that the organization that requires it, has adopted and implemented an Environmental Policy that respects the conditions specified in the standard of reference UNI EN ISO 14001:2004
This standard specifies requirements for a model of Environmental Management System, applicable to all the organizations, regardless of type, size, products and services furnished.
The Document that declares the obtained Certification, is achieved submitting voluntarily the Organization to a certification audit in order to ensure to the Certification body the ability of the Organization to correctly interpret, apply and manage all standard requirements.
